Finish the entire content of the game: HM all missions, Vanquish all areas, HM all elite missions, and so on. Hone your skills with some pvp too. Get some elite armors and fancy weapons.

Guiz, him waz jokin.

On topic, you can finish other campaigns, grind PvE titles, go Hard Mode, go to PvP, and a bunch of other things.

Bad sarcasm.

First, you should go on and finish the Factions campaign. If you feel like it, see if you want to do it again with a different profession. If not, you can go Hardmode (after beating initial factions). I'd suggest PvP though. Find a guild that's likable and try to learn GvG and such.

GW only really starts when you reach level 20. I suggest completing factions in HM or doing all quests I found that highly enjoyable.

it'll probalby take you longer to beat those last 4-5 missions than you've played altogether thus far.

Seems like all people do is AB now. (Only thing my guild seems to do anymore and what sucks is that I dislike PvP but can't just leave the guild. ><)

You don't even need to PvP in AB; just load a running build and run around the map seeing the sights. No one will ever notice you aren't actually helping ^_^

Every answer you're getting here follows a certain pattern:

- Do every mission again with different character.
- Do every mission again to get title.
- Kill every monster again to get title.
- Kill monsters again to get different weapon/armor.

Nothing takes away the fact that the game was never really meant for persistent play after finishing the campaign. You can see it on these one-dimensional band-aid solutions to prolong game's lifespan. *shrug*

No I was waiting for you to educate me. /endsarcasm

You know what, let me try and explain metagame to you directly from wiki:

Quote:
Within Guild Wars, the metagame refers chiefly to the skill selections and profession combinations in builds (solo and team) used to win PvP battles. There are multiple metagames in Guild Wars, including:

Guild versus Guild metagame
Tournament metagame (also known as Heroes' Ascent or Tombs metagame)
Team Arena metagame
Random Arena metagame (less well defined than other metagames, but a metagame exists regardless)
Before you make remarks like this one in the future check your sources, Wiki is your friend.

If you've just reached 20 for the first time, get off guru and play the game. Most people here are jaded old farts (as far as GW is concerned) who now derive the most enjoyment from trolling the forum. If you want your hand held, try the official wiki.

First thing that comes to mind is... complete Factions....

After that, buy Proph and NF, beat those, they're both better than Factions anyway.

Exactly. Level 20 is just the beginning. A tutorial, if you will.

Completing Factions in NM is just a small start. Go challenge yourself. AB, do HM missions, elite missions, vanquishing, capping, all around spoiling your character. Get the other campaigns and start doing them if you can. Have fun tweaking builds and experimenting with new things, especially if this is your first Level 20 character.

The only question I have is why did it take you so long to get to level 20?Were you one of the level 14 Sins hanging out in Viz square by any chance?
I guess it means youve been carried through a few missions ^.^
